Summary:

Coordinate accounts payables

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Accounts Payable function for several Suddath Relocation and Suddath Division office across the country

Process invoices for payment in an accurate and timely manner

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

Monitor invoicing queue to ensure payments are made on time

Communicate with vendors to resolve issues

Analyze invoices and make necessary adjustments before payment

Data entry of A/P invoices through a web-based expense reporting system

Process branch/division checks and submit printed reports to department accounting coordinator and branch controllers

Review and research unused credit card payments to vendors

Wire payments, ACH Payments, Foreign Currency

Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required; two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Accounting preferred. Prior experience in Accounts Payables required.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
