The Analyst, Services Sales Strategy and Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the explosive growth of Salesforce Services. This role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, sales operations, financial planning, and analysis - requiring a mix of market analysis, sales optimization, and business operational support.

This role is part of a high-performance, results-oriented team that values innovation. Success in this role means assisting product leadership to drive the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our Services growth strategy. Sample projects range from the strategic to the very operational including evaluating worldwide market opportunities, supporting the creation of the Services growth strategy, business planning, market segmentation, sales pipeline analysis, sales bookings forecasting, and regular review of key performance metrics.

Deliverables include daily deal support to our internal stakeholders which include process workflow through the creation of paperwork and gaining approvals. The role is cross-functional, requires interaction with multiple areas of the organization, and provides exposure to senior executives.

The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for being a business partner to our internal stakeholders. Moreover, the candidate will excel at extracting insights from data, converting ideas to action, and communicating insights to all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily deal support for services opportunities to internal stakeholders
  • Operational subject matter expert for process and policy in selling services
  • Provide change management and enablement to internal stakeholders
  • Provide ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations
  • Design and interpret key performance metrics. Deliver insights & recommendations
  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
  • Support strategic initiatives including evaluating areas of opportunity for the businesses
  • Troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
  • Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making


Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Work experience focused on quantitative analysis and logical reasoning
  • Self-starter and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
  • A strong team player willing to help out members on their own team and cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions
  • Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling Google Doc presentations and presenting to senior leadership
  • Sales experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel & Google sheet skills
  • Experience with SQL (or similar analytical packages) a plus
  • Work experience in consulting, sales support, or product management is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
