Job Description

The Air Dominance and Strike Weapons Advanced Programs Affordability PM is responsible for managing the day-to-day Design to Cost (DTC) activities for major campaign IRAD and associated business captures to ensure Position to Win (PTW) cost allocations are being met. The successful PM will work with business development and strategy, capture, engineering, operations and global supply chain leads to ensure cost allocations are being tracked and burn-down plans being executed as the system design matures. The PM will also align DTC activities with business strategy and risk management. The PM should possess a unique blend of skills to excel in an multi-discipline environment, including strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously with minimal guidance, and produce superior work products under short deadlines.
Specific duties are as follows:• Oversee the execution of all affordability initiatives• Track and report on subsystem cost allocation and burn-down plans• Align DTC with multiple capture objectives• Present affordability status at monthly management reviews• Willing to travel as needed and be flexible to the demands of the business priorities.

Basic Qualifications
• Project Management and Execution• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leader competencies• Knowledge of Risk Management including process of identifying and managing program risks;
Formulates risk burn down plans and utilizes risk
tools to manage projects/programs• Experience with affordability initiatives• Understanding of EVMS principles and application in development, production and
sustainment programs• Exceptional interpersonal communication and
formal presentations skills, including the ability to
interface to all levels of management• Professional maturity and awareness to manage
sensitive information, while maintaining a level of
trust with business leaders and business executives.• Proven ability to operate effectively and
independently, in a fast-paced environment, with
minimal direction.• Experience with coaching and consultative skills.
Must be able to build effective relationships and
balance interests of multiple stakeholders; uses
diplomacy and tact; can diffuse high-tension
situations comfortably.• Experience with complex project management.
Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and
competing priorities and produce results under
deadline pressure; must have sharp attention for
details and accuracy.• Data Analytic skills. Demonstrated ability to quickly review data and produce reports or presentations as appropriate.• Effective written and verbal communications skills including ability to be tailor style to an executive audience.• Demonstrated, sustained high performance in all assignments

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $128,400 - $214,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
