The Agile Practitioner will be responsible for providing expert guidance, leadership and support with the Enterprise transformation. The Agile Practitioner (Coach) assists with assessing team maturity, evaluating processes, monitoring sprint planning activities, and offers recommendations for continuous process improvement. This position will also collaborate and coordinate cross-functional team alignment across technology and business touchpoints.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a leader/mentor
  • Coach team members on agile delivery
  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching to an agile team by encouraging them to adopt and mature good scrum processes
  • Drive agile delivery processes
  • Guide/mentor Scrum Masters in daily standup calls for scrum teams and corresponding retrospectives, planning events, and ad hoc meetings as needed
  • Serve as an escalation for impediment removal for the Scrum Masters and scrum teams
  • Remove roadblocks wherever possible
  • Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on program-level plans, progress and quality
  • Facilitate alignment dependencies between the program team and third parties, release managers, or between the team and other Scrum Teams
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that tears down silos between groups - Act in a single voice
  • Provide ad hoc consulting in applicable areas of expertise
  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems outside own team
  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (8+ additional years of experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
  • 3+ years of Agile coaching/mentoring experience
  • 3+ years of experience with analysis, design, support and training with software supporting agile methodologies (i.e., Jira, Rally, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare technology delivery and/or technology operations
  • 2+ years of Project Management/Agile delivery experience across multiple applications (Cross-application Release Train Engineer)
  • Ability to transform complex technical topics into understandable concepts for business users and ability to communicate business requirements to a technical audience
  • Able to synthesize large complex issues and carry them forward to specific deliverable solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Teams


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Professional-Scrum Master (CSP-SM)
  • 8+ years of building, managing and supporting IT applications in a mid to large size business environment
  • 8+ years of experience in developing requirements and performing system analysis
  • 8+ years years of experience managing a cross-functional team in a highly complex environment
  • 5+ years Product Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience of major systems implementation
  • 4+ years of experience managing a cross-functional team in a highly complex environment
  • 4+ years of IT Project Management experience in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams including offshore
  • Experience working with a structured application development process in the health care industry
  • Experience with change and release management best practices. ITIL certification
  • Knowledge and experience with multi-Agile frameworks/methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, LeSS, SAFe, etc.
  • Demonstrate solid clinical experience and understanding of clinic workflow
  • DevOps engineering exposure
  • Understanding of software development process and procedures
  • Ability to effectively prioritize & multi-task in high volume workload situations
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Service Now, Project Management Software, HP Quality Center or other comparable tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of staff, including sales agents, internalexternal customers and senior management teams

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
