Adoption Manager II
Job Description
The Strategic Analytics and Adoption Team is looking to expand with a new Adoption Manager II. As an Adoption Manager II, you lead successful adoption delivery for clients to maximize end-user efficiency, and satisfaction. You will analyze and present data to identify areas of opportunity, lead internal and external client stakeholders to develop and execute complex adoption plans, and achieve client goals. You will localize the client support plan by understanding adult learning principles, and leveraging behavior change techniques. A successful Adoption Manager will manage financials, operations, and other capital for complex projects based on contract terms, and propose resolution strategies for project risks, escalating as appropriate. As a leader on the team, you will analyze and report to internal and external client stakeholders on progress, key performance indicators, and value achieved.

Working Environment
Hybrid or Remote
This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 1 year of Healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
- At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- At least 1 year of Clinical or health care work experience
- At least 1 year of Facilitation or training work experience
- At least 1 year of people management work experience
- At least 1 year of data analysis or presentation of data work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Expectations
- Ability to travel up to 80%
- Must currently reside in the Kansas City area or live within 60 miles of virtually approved city
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
