Essential Functions
The Ad Ops QA & Tech Support Specialist supports Adtaxi's advertising efforts by providing top-notch technical support across all client campaigns by troubleshooting campaign issues across programmatic, search and social channels, and providing technical support to our leadership and product teams for new advertising initiatives and operational tools.
The QA & Tech Support role is critical in helping Adtaxi to drive continued revenue growth, and ensuring we stay at the cutting edge of digital advertising technology. We're looking for self-starters with a great attitude, who are excited about finding out of the box ways to raise the bar on campaign performance.
What you will be doing:

  • Provide technical support to Adtaxi's programmatic, search and social teams for all campaigns, including assistance with Google Analytics discrepancies, tracking tag issues, creative troubleshooting, and other cool projects.
  • Manage implementation of more complex campaign elements for strategic campaigns, including advanced tag set up, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with departmental leads to develop solutions that will help drive innovation at Adtaxi, and exceed the expectations of our advertising clients.
  • Test new products and vendors to ensure they meet Adtaxi's operational requirements, and work with the Adtaxi product team to ensure new products are thoroughly vetted for operational use.
  • Continually refine our QA processes and tools to ensure the highest quality of campaign management across all channels.
  • Create clear usage guidelines for new products/vendors and train members of the operations team.
  • Ensure that digital properties are effectively and accurately tagged for reporting and analytical capabilities by managing the testing, QA, QC, debugging, and documentation of tagging and tracking code.


Competencies & Skills

  • Familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • 3 - 5 years managing digital advertising tools
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics or other third party analytics and optimization tools
  • Agency experience or experience working with multiple direct response advertiser accounts
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting ad tags
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work within firm deadlines
  • Strong quantitative skills


Travel

  • 0-10%


Education

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent working experience


Required Experience

  • 3 - 5 years managing digital advertising tools
  • Familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript


Preferred Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics or other third party analytics and optimization tools
  • Agency experience or experience working with multiple direct response advertiser accounts
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting ad tags
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work within firm deadlines

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment and at the Company and client sites for business meetings and presentations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • This position may be a permanent remote role.

The annual salary for Colorado residents is $70,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
