Academic Partnerships Manager
As the company continues to rapidly expand, we are seeking an Academic Partnerships Manager to join our New York team, who will be responsible for bringing on new academic partners and expanding our reach within academic institutions in North America.
This role includes developing partnerships with academic programs, building an academic ecosystem, managing the relationships with different academic partners and being the face of monday.com, with the goal of bringing monday.com to a new audience and create the next generation of users.
About The Role:
- Build strong relationships with academic partners and institutions in the region, to help expand the usage of monday.com among universities and students
- Proactively own and manage a portfolio of academic partners, and become their trusted advisor and influencer
- Be an expert on the monday.com platform, with a deep understanding of our capabilities and value, especially for the education sector
- Track, report, and optimize the performance of partnerships, including identifying issues as they arise, assessing possible solutions, and executing them
- Lead consultations, workshops and events in order to educate our partners on the features of our products
- Evangelize monday.com at industry events, seminars and conferences, as well as within our partner community
- Create content, marketing materials and campaigns to meet goals
- Identify relevant organizations who are strategically well-positioned to accelerate monday.com’s growth in the education sector.
- Collaborate with different teams at monday.com to build and maintain a pipeline of relationships with potential partners, taking responsibility for the relationship throughout all stages.

- 2-4 years of experience in partnerships or business development positions - must
- Experience working with the education sector or in academic partnerships - strong advantage
- Prior experience in working with SaaS applications - strong advantage
- A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with decision makers
- Willingness to travel as required to campuses
- Ability to combine strategic thinking and strong execution to deliver against plans.
- Goal oriented with hands-on and does-what-it-takes attitude to drive success.
- Effective in dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Native English speaker - must
- Fluency in other languages - advantage
