Job Description GIAM-OPS delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase's Clients and Employees with a focus on risk reduction, stability, security, resiliency and efficiencies. GIAM's focus on standardization, consistency and simplicity fosters long-term productivity, quality and innovation across JPMorgan Chase.
Responsibilities include:

  • Perform security administration on Mainframe and Large Midrange servers, ensuring access is granted in accordance with Security Access Control policies, established standards and procedures.
  • Analysis of requests for potential risk exposure prior to processing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security related issues.
  • Answer general inquiries regarding RACF and ACF2 security practice or access.
  • Participate in audit support activities, as they pertain to Mainframe, for both internal and external audits.
  • Execute test scripts and perform sampling in preparation of audit review;
  • Perform required reconciliation to resolve open audit issues.
  • Ensure communications are customer focused and professional.


Internal/External Qualifications:

  • 2 years hands on experience with ACF2 and RACF
  • Basic understanding of Information Security policies/practices;
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with the following products: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, written and Organizational skills
  • Open to flexible work schedule
  • Good familiarity with Security Tools like RACF, ACF2, ETFA and Zsecure.
  • Hands on skills with JCL & IBM Utilities.
  • Position is located in Tampa, Florida.
  • Position is on not full time remote.
  • On call weekend rotation is required

About the Team The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
