About Cardamom
The next evolution of healthcare requires flexible, agile teams to deliver high-tech, results-based solutions and support. Our team is here to help our customers tackle the initiatives and challenges on their organizational roadmap, and give clinicians, operational teams, and researchers access to the data they need to take care of their patients and improve health outcomes.
Cardamom is cultivating a multidisciplinary team of exceptional individuals with diverse skills and experiences in healthcare — data, analytics, AI, and EHR application experts. We are also passionate about growing the careers of those who may have little or no experience in these fields when the opportunity arises. Our team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, revenue cycle professionals, and certified application specialists would love for you to join us.
Your Role:
At Cardamom, our Operations team keeps the company running smoothly by connecting people, systems, and processes. We’re looking for an Operations & Systems Analyst to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across tools, streamlining workflows, and supporting both the people and technology that make our business thrive.
This role blends IT administration, process improvement, and project management. It’s a great opportunity for someone who’s curious, adaptable, and eager to grow into a broader operations career.
As an Operations & Systems Analyst at Cardamom, you will:
- Partner across functions to design and improve internal business processes for efficiency and scalability (requirements gathering, process mapping, solutioning, implementation)
- Use enterprise applications and automation tools to reduce manual work and streamline workflows
- Document processes, best practices, and configurations for organizational knowledge-sharing
- Provide basic IT administration and configuration support (account setup, access management, configuring workflows, troubleshooting application issues)
- Configure and maintain internal systems, platforms, and tools to support daily operations and reporting
- Support internal Cardamom Project Management Office (PMO) activities to coordinate and prioritize projects across functions
- Support internal Cardamom projects with project management duties (scheduling, tracking, follow-ups)
- Support annual IT Security and HIPAA compliance activities
- Coordinate with a variety of IT and facilities vendors to maintain relationships and ensure delivery of products and services
Our Ideal Operations & Systems Analyst will have:
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, and operations, project management, or a related role
- A process-oriented mindset and ability to spot inefficiencies
- An ability to work across functions to understand requirements and deliverables
- Comfort working with business platforms and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform or similar) to identify technology solutions for process improvements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A flexible, “no-task-too-small” attitude; you’re as willing to pitch in on day-to-day activities around the office as work on strategic projects
Bonus points for experience with the following:
- Business analyst and process improvement experience
- Project management or coordination experience
- Expertise with enterprise application administration or configuration (Microsoft Dynamics applications or other enterprise applications)
- Expertise with automation tools (MS Power Platform, UIPath, Automation Everywhere, etc.) or script based tools (SQL, Python, Javascript)
- Experience with developing or maintaining KPIs, dashboards, reporting
- Experience in healthcare or consulting
