About This Job
Axos is seeking an Operations Specialist who will work as part of a team to support in reaching sales goals as well as servicing existing customers in the dynamic and fast-paces Small Business Banking department.Responsibilities:
- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for small business clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on banking products and services
- Oversee day-to-day banking operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Prepare reports and certifications on operational performance, client feedback, and process improvements for management review
- Work closely with the sales and onboarding teams to facilitate new account processing and ensure a smooth experience for clients
- Make outbound calls to our future customers, collecting supporting documentation to complete the onboarding process
- Take inbound calls from our existing and new customers to assist with servicing and/or sales questions
- Manage inbound customer service cases and ensure a timely response as well as adequate resolution
- Assist in training new staff members on operational processes and client service standards
- Identify opportunities and lead procedural and process enhancement initiatives aimed at operational efficiency and enhanced client service
- Participate in projects directed towards improving banking processes and technology adoption
- Test new products/services for the business unit to identify issues/bugs before rollout date
- Perform due diligence on new small business deposit account applications, to assess risk and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations
- Provide sales support to the Relationship Managers/Sales team
- Partner with Relationship Managers and collaborate with internal partners to ensure exceptional client experience
- Other duties as assigned time to time by your direct supervisor
Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience in financial services in a support/processing capacity
- High School Diploma
