Hecla Emissions Management AS are looking for an Operations Assistant
Hecla Emissions Management AS is a joint venture between Wilhelmsen Ship Management and Affinity (Shipping) LLP, launched in 2023 to help the maritime sector navigate environmental regulations like EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, and the upcoming IMO Global Fuel Standard.
We provide digital compliance dashboards, EUA and FuelEU trading services, and Regulatory and compliance support.
Hecla serves over 45 clients worldwide, managing emissions compliance for more than 1,000 vessels. Digital and operations are run from Wilhelmsen HQ in Lysaker (Oslo), with trading and commercial development from Affinity in London.
What you will be doing:
We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join our Oslo team and support day-to-day compliance operations. In this role, you will help ensure smooth, accurate handling of client compliance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
Customer onboarding
EUA registry account management
Processing EUA allowance transfers
Responding to client queries
Updating digital dashboards
Supporting general team operations as needed

If you have a bachelor’s degree or similar in a relevant field, are service-minded, structured and pro-active you might be the one we are looking for. You should be organised, commercially aware, and excited by the idea of building a global business from the inside.
