What’s the opportunity?


We are looking for a Lawyer based in Brazil to join our team, who will be responsible for Ombudsman and Legal matters nationally. We are a global, fast-moving payments technology company working tirelessly to bridge the gaps in emerging markets. 

What will you be doing?

  • Manage the portfolio of judicial and extrajudicial cases of the company nationally.
  • Elaborating and maintenance of internal controls and files of corporate documents (physical and digital).
  • Monitoring of records of corporate acts before notaries and commercial boards, in compliance with requirements.
  • Responding to requests from internal areas.
  • Registration, monitoring, and treatment of complaints and requests made by users, customers, or third parties before the Central Bank.
  • Interacting with the company’s internal areas to obtain subsidies related to ombudsman demands.
  • Proposing improvements in the process and procedures, providing adequate customer service, in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Preparing reports, indicators, and presentations of the Ombudsman area.
  • Analyzing complaints about preventive action on the root cause in the internal areas.
  • Meeting internal and external audit demands.

What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Law and Active OAB
  • Experience with Litigation in Banking, Financial Institutions, Insurance, or Payments companies
  • Advanced/Fluent English
  • Spanish is a plus
  • Ombudsman certification or interest in obtaining it is a plus.
  • Experience with Ombudsman in institutions whose regulator is the Central Bank is a plus.
