An office support coordinator is a multi-faceted position and will allow you to get experience in many different departments and areas of the company. This role will help with daily office and clerical tasks٫ ensure that office operations run smoothly٫ support other business activities, provide administrative support to our Physicians, and add maximum value to the organization.

Please note that this is an entry-level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen, and transfer incoming phone calls; take and relay messages in a timely manner
  • Identify and/or resolve client and and patient customer service issues
  • Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Organize and maintain files and data as requested
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workstation

Qualifications:

  • Strong telephone skills 
  • Strong computer skills (especially with Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • Organized
  • Team player
  • Problem Solver
  • Reliable source of transportation (the Administrative Assistant will occasionally run errands)
  • Be able to lift up to 10 lbs and no more than 25 lbs
  • Healthcare experience highly preferred 
  • BA/BS degree highly preferred
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule (Monday-Friday) out of our Playa Vista office location
