We are looking for a Network Engineer to join a growing team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Incorporate new technology into advanced development prototypes for next-generation front-end systems.
- Provide network administration for network processor research labs, fielding of systems, and support of fielded systems.
Requirements:
- Possession of one (1) of the following certifications is required:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technically similar discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience establishing LANs, including creation and configuration of common services.
- Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience assembling and configuring equipment racks comprised of switches and Linux hosts, including installation of fiber optic and copper cabling.
- Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience administering Linux systems, including installation of servers using PXE (e.g., Cobbler/Kickstart), producing RPMs for custom software installation, and/or installation of Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux servers.
- Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of two (2) years of experience with large system administration environments exceeding 100 nodes.
- US citizenship and an active security clearance required

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.

Skills Required
