The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated Network Administrator to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract.
Responsibilities:

Maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, repairing and supporting switching and routing devices, firewalls, load balancers, alarmed carrier devices, uninterruptable power supplies, and in-line network encryption devices, which deliver the Command’s network transport capabilities.

Configure devices in accordance with security policies.

Develops and maintains IP address schemes for all assigned networks, and annually review and update the Master IP Routing Schema.

Troubleshoot and correct all detected or reported network faults or outages.

Provide assistance via remote access, phone, or in person.

Maintain current knowledge of network devices, including all networked Audio Visual (AV), Voice and Video over IP (VVoIP), Voice over IP (VoIP) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) services hardware, software and network technologies.

Monitor capacity and utilization.

Provide trending and capacity planning services to analyze and plan for efficient utilization and management of the networked services.

Provide first line fault monitoring on the customers networks making best use of available network management tools.

Identify, isolate, and classify network faults identified either manually or via available network management tools.

Receive, confirm, and classify network reported faults identified by customers, event management systems, or performance management tools.

Coordinates hardware and software system installation and ensures specifications are met.

Create and maintain thorough documentation for all incident resolutions and troubleshooting instructions in the Knowledge Databases.

As required, work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.

Will provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
-
BA/BS + 4-8 years experience, depending on skill level. AA/AS and additional years of experience may be accepted

Must have experience in the maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), as well as an excellent
-
working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols (e.g., Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Multiprotocol Labeling Switching (MPLS).

Current DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
-
Administrator-level certification in Network Technology (e.g. CCNA, JNCIA, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with network hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.
-
Customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.

Experience in interfacing with both client managers and system users.

Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
