The Native Advertising Specialist will work closely with the Sales, Ad Operations and our network of freelance writers to sell, produce and publish native advertising that fulfills the goals of the client within the boundaries of the nature of native content. Our environment is fast-paced where missing a deadline could mean losing a client.
In this position, you will be:• Producing native advertising articles on KSL.com and DeseretNews.com• Using social media platforms to enhance native advertising effectiveness• Managing calendars and scheduling with clients• Publishing up to 4 articles a weekday• Tracking article analytics for in-house and client use• Brainstorming ideas for client content• Performing quality assurance on the content produced by clients/freelance writers• Constantly looking to enhance the product to engage more users and increase client brand awareness• Representing the company while communicating with clients
Requirements:• Have a solid knowledge of native advertising (aka sponsored content), its purpose and its significance in the digital media industry• Have excellent editing and writing skills (AP style)• Have a passion for news and online journalism• Be able to work under little/no supervision• Be proactive• Have an affinity for our company mission
Nice-to-have:• Have PR, marketing, advertising or journalism background• Have a working knowledge of HTML
