What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with a highly experienced National Project Controls Manager within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business with flexibility to be based in SA, VIC, NSW or QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further. You will be responsible for streamlining and standardising project controls methods across the business. Your focus will be on ensuring the consistent execution of project controls that accurately track and report on time and cost parameters, ensuring the overall success of our projects and programs.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Developing and implementing standardised project controls processes that align with industry best practices
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand current project control methodologies in the context of operational needs
Engaging with key clients to define and address project/program-specific project controls requirements
Building and nurturing project controls capabilities within the business by developing training programs and mentoring project controls specialists
Governance oversight of the execution of project controls processes to ensure that major projects and programs of work are delivered on time and within budget
Involvement in project/program audit cycles to ensure continuous improvement in the project controls processes.
How you'll connect to the role:
Proven experience (10+ years) in project controls within the infrastructure utilities sector
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a quantity surveying, construction, business management or engineering discipline
Strong knowledge of project controls best practice methodologies and industry standards.
Experience in developing and implementing robust project controls and reporting processes across large-scale programs of work
Extensive experience in cost control, project planning and scheduling, risk and opportunity management, estimating and reporting
Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver best practice project controls requirements
Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience in influencing change, motivating and supporting indirect team members to create an environment for high performance.
