This position is responsible for managing and growing key strategic customer partnerships to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and long-term business success. This role develops executive-level relationships, leads account strategy and expansion efforts, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial insight, protein industry expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex accounts across diverse market segments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead and grow key strategic customer accounts to drive revenue, retention, and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Identify and capture expansion, upselling, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, supply chain, and finance to deliver exceptional customer solutions and service.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage account performance, and support resolution of critical customer issues.
  • Monitor market trends, protein industry conditions, and pricing strategies to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to align production planning and customer demand.
  • Serve as a trusted, customer-facing representative of the company, building strong executive-level relationships with key accounts.
  • Travel as needed to maintain and strengthen customer partnerships.

The ideal candidate we are seeking:
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-channel sales teams and strategic customer accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of protein markets, pricing strategies, and retail/foodservice distribution networks.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating large contracts and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong financial, analytical, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Food Science, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in poultry, protein, or food manufacturing, with established industry relationships preferred.

Starting Wage: $107,000 - $134,000/Year
