It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan ahead, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.
Reporting to the F-35 ALIS Technology Management and Logistics Manager, the selected candidate will serve as a Mult Fnc Info Sys Anlst Asc within the Hybrid Product Support Integrator (HPSI) organization. This position will support the sustainment of F-35 locations worldwide - both foreign and domestic.
The F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information Systems (ALIS) Project Engineer will be responsible for managing COTS hardware and software and firmware products across several concurrent development and sustainment baselines, all in different stages of the engineering lifecycle. The selected candidate will have a strong background in engineering process and will be responsible for developing the integrated processes for managing sustainment actions throughout the product lifecycle (both planning and execution phases). Responsibilities will also include analysis of engineering production workflows for process improvement, compliance with LM policies and procedures, as well as coordination with Program Management, Contracts, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, Information Assurance, Deployment, and external sources to ensure program contractual delivery dates are met.
This position may require some travel.
Must have the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field• Systems & software engineering process knowledge • Ability to collaborate and integrate high performance multi-functional teams• Great verbal & written communication skills

• Sustainment Engineering Experience • Knowledge of JSF F-35 Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS) system • Self-starter who identifies problems, determines, and acts on courses of action, and escalates to leadership when help, direction or approval needed• Basic knowledge on servers, workstations, firewalls, and firmware• Basic experience with the engineering lifecycle

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $55,300 - $106,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,600 - $119,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
