Key Responsibilities:
Technical Consultation:
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and provide technical insights.
• Conduct needs assessments and identify technical requirements for potential clients.
• Design and propose customized MSP solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
Pre-Sales Support:
• Assist in developing sales proposals, SOW, quotes, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Provide technical expertise during sales calls and meetings with prospective clients.
• Answer technical questions and address client concerns regarding MSP offerings.
Solution Design:
• Create detailed solution architectures, including hardware, software, and service components.
• Ensure proposed solutions are feasible and can be effectively implemented by the MSP team.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements to recommend the latest technologies.
Client Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and technical environments.
• Serve as a point of contact for technical issues during the sales cycle.
• Conduct site visits to assess client environments and gather detailed technical information.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed documentation for proposed solutions, including technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with project management and service delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to implementation.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and solution designs.
Training and Development:
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to the sales team on new technologies and solutions.
• Develop and deliver technical workshops and seminars for clients and internal teams.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge through professional development and certifications.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role, preferably within an MSP or IT services environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are highly desirable.
