Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Middleware Administrator Expert to join our dynamic team with 7-8 years of experience in managing and maintaining Middleware stack. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of middleware technologies (ACE, MQ, Kong, Nginx) and strong expertise in performance tuning, troubleshoot issues, and perform updates or patches as needed
Responsibilities:
Middleware Management:
· Install, configure, and maintain middleware technologies such as IBM API Gateway, Nginx, and Kong.
· Monitor middleware performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
Integration:
· Design and develop integration solutions to connect various applications and systems within the organization.
· Ensure middleware components are seamlessly integrated and function smoothly with other IT infrastructure and applications.
· Should be able to create API endpoints as required for application
· Should have knowledge in integration with Active Directory.
Support and Maintenance:
· Provide ongoing support for middleware environments, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
· Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patch management to ensure security and stability.
Performance Tuning:
· Monitor and analyse the performance of middleware systems, identifying areas for improvement.
· Implement tuning techniques to enhance system performance and scalability.
Documentation:
· Maintain comprehensive documentation of middleware configurations, processes, and procedures.
· Ensure that documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant team members
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of relevant experience in middleware engineering or a similar role.
· Proficiency in middleware technologies such as IBM API Gateway/Kong,
· Working experience on ACE and MQ added advantage.
· Strong understanding of application integration and API management.
· Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Shell, Python, Ansible).
· Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
