Tietoevry Create is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Lab Operations team supporting one of the leading Telecom vendors. The role is remote ,and involves maintaining and operating lab environments, ensuring high availability, and supporting users in a globally distributed setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operations and support for telecom lab environments.
- Ensure stable operation of Red Hat OpenShift clusters and related infrastructure.
- Perform Linux system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Handle networking tasks, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver technical user support for lab engineers and development teams.
- Work with software-defined infrastructure (SDI) and automation tools.
- Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python) for operational automation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
- Solid background in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, or similar).
- Good understanding of networking and troubleshooting tools.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in operations and support within complex lab or production environments.
- Familiarity with SDI concepts and automation scripting (Bash, Python).
- Team-oriented mindset with focus on reliability, ownership, and collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with telecom or large-scale lab infrastructures.
- Understanding of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitLab, Gerrit).
