THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our campervan workshop team. As a vital member of our operations, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining campervans to ensure their optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and passionate about delivering high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Repair and Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on campervans, including engines, brakes, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Diagnose mechanical and technical issues, using tools and technology to identify problems effectively.
- Conduct repairs on campervan-specific components, such as water systems, heating systems, and appliances.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Test vehicle systems and components after repair to confirm proper functioning.
- Workshop Support
- Assist the Mechanical Leader in prioritizing and organizing repair tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Inventory and Documentation
- Record all work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and any recommendations for future maintenance.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics technical or a similar program in the automotive industry
- At least 1+ years of experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs - experience in campervans is a plus
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree preferred
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Valid Driver’s License
- English and French proficiency, and good communication skills
