What You'll Do
- You will own the technical performance of the Mixing process domain within Asia‑Pacific, ensuring equipment and process solutions meet performance, quality, safety, and manufacturability requirements across the lifecycle. Contribute to Best Cost Capital (BCC) objectives through process‑level value engineering, supplier qualification, and technical risk management. Serve as the Mixing Technical Lead in capital projects in partnership with the Project Manager and Automation Integration Lead, and act as the primary technical interface with Global Process Engineering.
- Key Responsibilities (5)
- You will take the process Technical Ownership – Mixing (20%): Serve as the primary Technical Engineer for the Mixing process domain in Asia Pacific.
- You will own Mixing process technical performance and standards, ensuring solutions meet requirements for capacity, quality, safety, stability, and manufacturability across the equipment lifecycle.
- You will be capital Project Technical Leadership (20%): Lead Mixing process technical scope in capital projects, including requirements definition, technical reviews, and process-level FAT/SAT and commissioning readiness.
- You will Collaborate with Project Managers and Automation teams to support successful project execution and start-up.
- You will be responsible to supplier Qualification & Value Engineering (BCC) (35%)
- You will technically assess and support qualification of Mixing equipment suppliers, including new, local, or alternative sources.
- You will support Best Cost Capital (BCC) and value engineering initiatives by evaluating alternative designs or suppliers while protecting process performance, quality, safety, and long-term reliability.
- You will Support Regional Operational Excellence & Technical (15%): Provide Tier-2 / Tier-3 technical support for complex Mixing equipment and process issues across AP plants. Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and replication of proven solutions and best practices.
- You will Coverage Global Technical Alignment & Cross Process (10%)
- You will act as the primary regional technical interface with Global Process Engineering for the Mixing domain, supporting alignment with global standards and technology direction.
- You will provide secondary technical coverage for adjacent process domains (e.g., Component Preparation, Tire Assembly, Curing, Final Finish), as assigned, supporting project execution and technical reviews while final technical authority remains with the primary process owner.
What We're looking for:
- You with bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- You with Experience working with equipment suppliers, including technical evaluation, qualification, or value engineering activities.
- You with Experience providing technical support in manufacturing or multi‑plant environments.
- You with strong technical knowledge of Mixing process principles, equipment design, and key performance drivers would be a plus.
- You with ability to evaluate technical solutions and apply sound engineering judgment considering performance, risk, and lifecycle reliability.
- You with Capability to support Value Engineering and Best Cost Capital (BCC) initiatives through structured technical assessment.
- You with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to support root‑cause analysis.
- You with effective communication and collaboration skills across plants, suppliers, and global engineering teams.
