Job Description
A Master Data Analyst works on creating, updating, and managing material master data and parts in ERP systems like SAP and IFS. The role involves working with teams such as Bill of Material, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product environmental compliance to collect and check data. The analyst also ensures that all Material Master data is accurate, complete, follows company standards, and looks for ways to improve the process.
Your Responsibilities:
- Material Master Data Creation: Create/update and maintain records in SAP/IFS per established standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with BOM, procurement, engineering, and other teams to gather data.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and propose strategies to streamline operations.
- Quality Assurance: Review and correct data inconsistencies regularly.
- Documentation: Maintain clear guidelines and process documentation.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and SLAs and ensure TAT compliance and high accuracy rates and high quality.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- A full-time graduate degree (any stream); preferably Bachelor/Masters in Business Administration.
- Domain knowledge on Supply Chain, SAP/ERP (MM module), Material pricing, RoHS, HTS/HSN codes, Sales/Purchase Org
- Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills to address issues related to material master data creation and management.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Data Volume: Managing material master data creation for a large volume of materials can introduce complexity, requiring efficient processes and attention to detail.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry guidelines adds complexity to the role, requiring thorough understanding and adherence to relevant regulations.
- System Complexity: Working with complex ERP systems or databases to create and maintain material master data may present challenges that require technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
