The role
We’re seeking a seasoned marketing SUPERSTAR to lead all marketing efforts for SoFi’s critically important Enterprise, Content and Insights (ECI) group business unit. This includes Relay (our financial insights product), Protect (our suite of insurance offerings), At Work (our B2B channel for employers) and Lantern (our affiliate marketplace to serve a broader range of member needs) . This leader owns setting the long-term strategic vision and leading near-term execution for all ECI products. The role’s responsibilities include developing product positioning, designing the go-to-market strategy and plans, creating a member communication plan, and owning member acquisition & retention. SoFi is in the business of creating innovative and transparent financial products, delivering them with user-friendly technology, and supporting our members with benefits to help them reach their financial and professional goals faster. You will lead a team of Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to build a differentiated, defensible positioning for our ECI offerings and develop creative and marketing strategies that communicate it effectively. You’ll play a key role in helping to shape people’s financial futures. You have a proven record of excelling in cross-functional communication and leading all functional and business teams efficiently & effectively. Ultimately you’ll deliver a strong, measurable impact for the entire brand.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the CMO for all ECI products: be the voice of ECI marketing to represent and execute the vision on the long-term strategy & short-term tactics.
- Lead PMMs, channels, and cross-functional teams to represent the member and market (including customer journey and target personas/segments) and deliver integrated solutions and marketing campaigns to drive business growth and member acquisition & retention.
- Be responsible for key growth, retention, efficiency and marketing spend targets & metrics across all ECI products.
- Oversee product positioning, value proposition, messaging, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategy for all ECI businesses.
- Guide research strategy to identify consumer insights and drive compelling narrative to enhance product offering and advance competitive advantages.
- Have deep knowledge in all marketing channels and provide key strategic vision on channel mix to drive product awareness and direct response across ECI products to ensure highest sustainable ROIs are achieved.
What you’ll need:
- 12+ years relevant marketing experience in both B2B and B2C product marketing, with quantifiable revenue responsibility.
- Leadership: 8+ years experience of building and leading teams.
- Strategy and Execution: Combine strategic thinking with tactical execution to drive customer acquisition and retention through diverse channels. Proven track record of hitting growth targets and driving business impact in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication skills: Lead communications across the organization including at executive level, cross-functionally and within marketing.
- Analytical and quantitative skills: Use data to drive strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
