Reporting to the CMO, this is an essential leadership role. The VP of Product Marketing will focus on building a best in class product marketing function, scaling product marketing and sales enablement thus accelerating and driving sales confidence and revenue upside. This individual will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Finance, and Engineering leadership to align cross-functional teams around our global Go-to-Market strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow a global Product Marketing team focused on identifying the needs of brands, publishers, and platforms and translating those needs internally to ensure the success of product development and adoption

  • Represent the voice of the market and define customer demand that will activate product investments and revenue growth

  • Coach the product marketing team on the business strategy needed to deliver an industry-leading advertising experience for consumers and businesses, and help them structure inbound recommendations to product teams based on customer needs, competitive analysis, and market opportunity sizing

  • Partner with leaders across the business (e.g. sales, product, business development, sales operations, marketing operations, etc) to design a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including positioning, launch strategy, PR, sales and partner materials

  • Create marketing programs across the portfolio to drive adoption of key solutions/capabilities and grow both revenue and value created for customers. Represent our full product suite and the business internally and externally

  • Manage the product launch process. Coordinate and partner with cross-functional teams (including PR, design, product, and engineering stakeholders) to deliver world-class products to the market

  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering organization to develop ad product strategy, prioritize the roadmap, and ship products on time

  • Understand target buyer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape

  • Partner with Sales Enablement to develop comprehensive sales training materials

  • Oversee internal resources and external agencies tasked with creating effective content for Web sites, campaigns and sales enablement

  • Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to guide the marketing staff in its day-to-day activities

  • Formalize processes, measurement tools and reporting structure to support the Product Marketing team’s goals

  • Conduct routine assessments of the organization’s go- to-market processes and address gaps in performance

  • Manage the hiring, development and retention of Product Marketing team talent globally


Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of professional B2B experience, 5+ years motivating and leading diverse teams (preferably global)

  • 5+ years product marketing experience in ad tech, managing more than one product/business line, creating GTM strategies and driving global adoption

  • Demonstrated success influencing C-level executives and cross-functional leaders

  • Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions to establish buy-in for go-to-market strategy

  • Demonstrated skills in messaging and positioning offerings

  • Experience developing thought leadership to enhance a company’s reputation in terms of expertise and innovation

  • People management, including the ability to build and grow a team and work with diverse skill sets and backgrounds

  • Strong management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives

  • Ability to work in a cross- functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  • Analytical, data driven decision-maker

  • Communicator with a keen ability to simplify complex concepts

  • Highly collaborative, able to work in a matrixed environment
