Click’s lead prescription program has entered a pivotal, fully remote, randomized, controlled trial on the Verily platform for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in up to 360 adults. Click is progressing a broad pipeline of Digital Therapeutics™ across a variety of high-burden therapeutic areas, including MDD, Schizophrenia, Migraine, MS, Chronic Pain, Atopic Dermatitis, Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), Obesity, Oncology and more.
About the Role:
As Vice President, Marketing, you will shape the overall marketing strategy for near-term launch products, and build a best in class marketing organization to execute that vision. The role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and will work closely with the Commercial Leadership team, as well as senior counterparts in the Medical Office, Strategy Office, and Product Team. You will oversee all aspects of the marketing function, including long-term brand strategy, market shaping, promotional messaging, tactical planning, HCP and patient marketing, digital marketing/omnichannel engagement, etc. We are looking for someone with a strong background in pharmaceutical marketing and launch excellence that can develop the Click playbook for Prescription Digital Therapeutic (PDT) launches across multiple therapeutic areas. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, are success-oriented and have a strong record of launching regulated products and building teams, you may be the right candidate.
This position is based out of Click’s headquarters in located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership and development of a best-in class marketing team: hiring, leading, and managing a team that will execute on all aspects of Rx marketing (strategy, messaging, omnichannel, brand management, marketing operations)
- Willingness and ability to participate in all parts of the marketing process, from strategic visioning, to tactical planning, to execution
- Leadership and development of strategic marketing plans to support the successful launch of Click’s self-commercialized prescription digital therapeutic products, including but not limited to segmentation, market needs, competitive landscape and business intelligence in order to create and drive effective brand strategies
- Ownership of each product’s brand positioning, creation of brand value propositions, promotional messaging, identification of barriers and risk mitigation strategies, etc.
- Development of the marketing playbook for successful Click PDT product launches
- Ownership and oversight of the development of promotional materials, approval process, and dissemination of approved materials (including the management of external agencies)
- Support in selection and management of agencies and vendors to deliver on internally developed marketing priorities
- Identification and execution of field force needs and materials
- Representation of the commercial leadership in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Science, Medical, and Clinical Operations for marketing related responsibilities
- Compliant collaboration with Medical Affairs on communications strategy and KOL engagement
- Management of overall Marketing department finances, including forecasting, budgeting and tracking
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or other advanced degree preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech (sales, market access, marketing), project management, corporate communications, or a related field
- 5-7 years minimum in marketing execution and/or brand management
- Prior marketing leadership experience is a must: brand strategy development, patient and professional marketing, DSA/DSE and market shaping execution
- Experience on multiple brand launch teams
- Demonstrated understanding of cross functional commercial areas, including sales, marketing analytics, payer and sales training
- Success in owning a full marketing brand or brands
- Experience building, managing and growing a team of employees
- Strategic capabilities with the ability to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans
- Ability to analyze complex data and information and develop key strategies and solutions to address issues
- Ability to manage external vendor relationships, including promotional and advertising agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures, and disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building and leading a strong team culture that fosters growth of team members
- Knowledge or experience of the ex-US prescription markets
- Knowledge of or experience with Digital Therapeutics and/or Prescription Digital Therapeutics is considered a plus
- Experience in other commercial functions (Market Access, Field Sales, Sales Enablement, Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Contracting)
- Experience building company presence and eminence externally, such as speaking engagements or conference participatio
