The Role
Egnyte is looking for an VP, Global Communications to lead a team of experts across public relations, analyst relations, social media, and internal communications as the company prepares to enter into an exciting next phase of its growth.

You will craft and maintain messaging for a widely respected and highly innovative technology brand at the intersection of data security and governance, remote work, and AI. In this key strategic role, you will report directly into the CEO and partner closely with all members of the executive team (especially the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief People Officer, Chief Product Officer and Chief Security Officer) to communicate Egnyte’s purpose, values, and positioning, and influence opinions across all stakeholder groups, both internally and externally.

What You’ll Do (but is not limited to)

  • Lead and manage teams responsible for corporate communications, social media, analyst relations, executive communications, crisis management, and community relations
  • Provide strategic guidance to internal staff and agency partners on identifying and engaging with media, analysts, and influencers 
  • Develop and execute Egnyte’s strategy for corporate social responsibility/ESG
  • Enable internal stakeholder groups on Egnyte’s purpose, vision, values, culture, positioning, and voice
  • Partner with the Marketing, Sales and other external-facing teams to ensure corporate messaging is carried through in their communications
  • Through Egnyte’s social media presence and other corporate reputation programs, boost recognition and favorably shape opinions of Egnyte ... well beyond the target markets that our platform serves

What You Need To Succeed

  • Proven success executing communications programs in a fast-paced B2B environment; public company SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • 12+ years in Global Communications role with progressive experience
  • Strong personal communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to set, measure, and report against meaningful communications goals (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • Able to include occasional periods of travel as part of regular routine
