Job Description
Your Career
As Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager for Cortex XSOAR, you will be a key player in the transformation of the security automation market. It will be your mission to evangelize and position our security automation solution.
You will work closely with other Product Marketers, Field Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to define and build the Hands-on Workshop program. You will lead technical content strategy for Cortex XSOAR and Cortex XSOAR integrations (XDR, Xpanse and XSIAM), working with sales engineers, speedboat teams and Tech Alliance to build out technical content and assets (Hands-on Workshops, blogs, demos, briefs, videos, Capture the Flag) that help educate security analysts and drive home the value of security automation for SOC/SecOps teams.
You will also be collaborating with strategic SOAR technology partners to drive awareness of our joint integrations supporting key use cases.
This role will provide you the opportunity to learn about a broad range of cybersecurity areas and you will get a chance to work with multiple teams at Palo Alto Networks, as well as key players in the cybersecurity space who are a part of our SOAR community. You will be instrumental in building out and refining our technical marketing program and also pick up skills in security automation and playbook development.
Your Impact
Building strong technical product marketing content, including Hands-on Workshops, demos, blogs, videos, Capture-the-Flag, and presentations, focused on core XSOAR use cases. Support and enhance our free Community Edition offering (building better videos and intro guides, supporting licensing and automation playbook).
Be the evangelist for your solution to both internal Palo Alto Networks and external audiences to educate, drive thought leadership and awareness for security automation. This includes support for demos at global and regional events where XSOAR is profiled.
Collaborate with Cortex Sales Enablement team, to support both Palo Alto Network sellers and channel partners.
Be a subject matter expert and a go-to resource for the sales and field marketing teams as well as Cortex Partner Alliance team focused on building our SOAR partner ecosystem.
Support joint co-marketing efforts with strategic integration partners who contribute to our SOAR Marketplace. Support the Marketplace enhancement and migration effort.
Qualifications
Your Experience
3+ years of product or technical marketing experience is required.
Cybersecurity domain knowledge is required. Network and/or cloud operations experience is desirable.
Proven experience building and delivering product demos, hands-on workshops and other technical content supporting events and demand generation programs.
Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Javascript, JSON and API integrations.
Strong team player with proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Disclosure required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum compensation (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) for this role to be located in the state of Colorado. If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $138,500yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
