As a Technical Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute marketing programs using a multi-channel, go-to-market strategy for Aldevron's service and product portfolios. You will be a key member of the Marketing team, focused on marketing custom manufacturing services and off-the-shelf products for today's cutting-edge applications such as cell & gene therapy across different modalities. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of cell & gene therapy techniques including viral vectors, DNA vaccines, CAR-T cell therapy, gene editing, and personalized cell therapies. You will require proven collaboration and leadership skills necessary to work with a broad team, across multiple businesses/departments and to support a complex sales operation.
Responsibilities:
Create and implement appropriate marketing content across multiple channels, including digital channels, web, video and print. Build and share a deep understanding of client needs and create differentiating messages to multiple personas throughout the customer journey. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain presentation decks including technical seminars and business capabilities decks. Write or oversee the writing of white papers and other communications to support marketing campaigns. Lead development of technical content for marketing materials including the website. Build and execute tactical marketing plans for new and/or existing services and products. Identify and utilize the best marketing channels to communicate client-centric messages to our target audience. Travel up to 15%.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience developing technical marketing content within the life sciences, successfully implementing marketing plans, and interfacing with customers in molecular biology or the life sciences product area is required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail as well as analytical, project management and planning skills is required.
- Demonstrated technical or creative writing with the ability to simplify ideas and articulate through various media formats is required
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a science field is required.
- Strong business acumen and customer focus is preferred
- Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales is preferred.
- PhD in molecular biology, cellular biology or related discipline preferred
This position will be based on Fargo, ND or Madison, WI. Remote employment may be considered for exceptional candidates.
