About the team
The Merchant Solutions Marketing team is comprised of multi-talented and creative marketers across the areas of Product, Pipeline, Field, Content, Channel and Partner Marketing. The team is responsible for go-to-market of Worldpay from FIS's global product suite spanning across Enterprise and SMB merchants. Worldpay is FIS's merchant processing division and the #1 merchant processor in the U.S. when ranked by the number of transactions processed and #2 by the dollar amount of transactions processed.
What you will be doing
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead referral marketing across some of FIS' largest Bank Clients. We partner with Banks to enable them to offer leading merchant processing solutions to their small business and commercial business customers. In most cases our offer to the bank's business customers is co-branded, so knowing how banks operate, their marketing channels and how to market to their small business and commercial customers is key. You will be on point as the marketing expert between our organization and the bank, regularly partnering with their banking and marketing leadership to achieve outlined goals for our respective organizations! This role reports to the Head of SMB Marketing.
Job Requirements
Strategic and Innovative Marketer

  • Leads the development, delivery and maintenance of integrated marketing plan for assigned Bank client relationships to meet business objectives
  • Extensive experience working with and influencing clients to meet the mutual goals of our partnership
  • Work with and support partner dedicated marketers (your counterparts at the banks)
  • Develop marketing strategies that are scalable, when possible, across all bank partners
  • Aggregate market results from partners to show individual progress as well as program progress
  • Influence, educate and garner support from the partner with marketing strategies including but not limited to digital programs, branch campaigns and awareness, proactive cross-sell to all existing bank small business and commercial customers, cross-sell to new bank clients, measure voice-of-customer and conceptualize additional marketing tactics to continuously raise the bar and drive results.
  • Develop productive and effective relationships at all partner levels with the organization
  • Maintain consistent communication and partnership with your internal stakeholders, including our General Manager, Sales Leadership, Sales Team and Marketing groups
  • Take high level communication presented to each LOB and ensure that the message is communicated by Directors/VP through field marketing and sales support activities
  • Central contact for operational announcements and communication needs
  • Support internal training team in support of educating and marketing of new products and solutions for partner marketers, sales teams and partners
  • Develop and promote cross-sell opportunities within closed business accounts
  • Identify opportunities to showcase thought leadership in strategic areas within the key partner markets
  • Work with partner marketers to develop marketing plans and gain approval from partners
  • Participate as needed in Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with partner banks

What you bring:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably B2B marketing through partner channels
  • Experience in financial services marketing, retail banking and/or merchant processing is preferable
  • Successful track record of shaping marketing strategy and successful GTM for B2B products and services
  • Strategy development, with a keen eye toward also executing strategies
  • Attention to detail
  • Meeting commitments
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, ability to manage with influence and experience working closely with other teams, especially, product, sales, marketing, credit and business development
  • Record of building strategic alignment and buy-in across multiple stakeholders, functions and geographic regions
  • Analytical approach to decide which opportunities to pursue
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a faced paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute
  • Sense of urgency and bias for action
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Willingness and ability to travel an average of up to 2x's per month at the start of taking the role, which could reduce a bit as familiarity with the accounts grows.
