What Will Be Your Purpose

The Experiential Marketing Senior Specialist will lead a large number of sports partnerships around the state in their entirety and support the Senior Manager with multiple additional partnership programs as needed. You will work side by side with the the Experiential Marketing Senior Manager in developing and executing event activations and fulfilling sponsorship benefits. The role is responsible for:

  • Managing all aspects of sport marketing partnerships, beginning with the development of strategic event plans through the execution stage. This includes relationship management, contract negoiations, and collaboration with clients and partners to fully execute partnership agreements.
  • Utilize your expertise across a wide variety of event activation and sponsorship types.
  • Support internal and external experiential marketing programs, including sports sponsorships, event marketing, grassroots activation, trade shows, community events, and more.

To be successful as the Senior Specialist for Experiential Marketing, you should have strong leadership, strategic planning, project management, interpersonal and decision-making skills. You will need to maintain a strong level of accountability, keen attention to detail, and have the ability to develop and maintain relationships while working with cross functioning teams.

Important To Know

  • This position requires 30% travel with occasional overnight stays, weekend, and Holiday hours
  • There will be assigned regions within the state of Florida
  • Flexibility required during Annual Election Period and Open Enrollment Period (October - February).

What Will You Be Doing

Manage Partnerships and Activation

  • Lead execution of Experiential Marketing events from inception to completion in their entirety
  • Regional Experiential Lead and Local Presence (LP) Liaison
  • Develop and communicate written briefs for use by agencies or retail agents (e.g., previews, promotional items, etc.) to direct their activations in order to generate effective activations and results
  • Lead customization and implementation of integrated marketing communication and asset activation plans by coordinating internal and external functions (e.g. marketing assets & sponsorships in order to achieve high performance results on time and within budget)
  • Ensure all partnerships and contract benefits are fulfilled and executed at 100%
  • Ideation of event activations aligning with regional objectives
  • Participate in and assist with contract negotiations

Experiential Marketing Tracking and Reporting

  • Report on event results and outcomes, including KPI, lead generation, member engagement, and sales conversions
  • Tracking and archiving social media posts from partnerships and clients
  • Distribution of Experiential Marketing quarterly and annual report
  • Manage and maintain Experiential Marketing event calendar and ensure all events are loaded and reflected on our Master Calendar
  • Responsible for retrieving all Experiential sales lead reports and sharing results with regional FM and LP teams
  • Experiential Marketing inbox management
  • Submission of creative requests for all sport partnerships in their entirety
  • Storytelling: Ensuring our work is captured and archived to allow us to provide recap details to internal partners
  • Archiving: Ensuring all historical files are stored on aligning platform, including event footage, recap videos, event recaps, photos, planning documents, partner files, capturing partner meeting minutes, etc.
  • Maintaining our regional benefit overview spreadsheets to ensure contractual benefits and demographics are updated at the beginning of each year

Channel/Client Support & Compliance

  • Ensure event management steps outlined above are conducted in correlation with the Field & Experiential Marketing scorecard goals
  • Support leadership with any internal or external client support as needed
  • Support Experiential asset and inventory management as needed
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies/brand partners to ensure flawless execution across all operations and logistics
  • Innovation: Seeks out and shares best in class event practices, new technologies, and industry benchmarks to ensure world class event execution
  • Responsible for ensuring all sweepstake rules are approved by Legal
  • When applicable, selecting and reaching out to sweepstake winners for sweepstake completion.
  • Responsible for Enterprise Marketing and Enterprise Communication approvals across all partnership initiatives

What You Must Have

  • 4+ years related work experience in Event Management, Grassroots and Tour activations, social media, Viral/WOM Marketing, Field Marketing, Advertising, PR, Campaign Integration, marketing strategy and multicultural consumer engagement.
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Event Management, Grassroots and Tour activations, social media, Viral/WOM Marketing, Field Marketing, Advertising, PR, Campaign Integration, marketing strategy and multicultural consumer engagement.
  • Demonstrated program management, asset optimization, and coordination experience.
  • Must be able to influence without authority and work with all levels of the enterprise.
  • Must be able to multi-task under pressuring deadlines and manage cross-functional teams, agencies, and direct reports through tight schedules.
  • Minimum 30% travel required with occasional overnight travel, which may include weekends.
  • Frequent travel during Annual Election Period and Open Enrollment Period (October - February).
    Exceptional oral/written communication, presentation, organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Share Point.

What We Prefer

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of health care industry, to include Health Care Reform and Medicare.
  • Product development, marketing, or sales experience.

General Physical Demands

  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e., travel to attend meetings, events, conferences).
  • Frequently May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions of cold, heat, wet, and humidity.
  • Frequently May be exposed to outdoor or warehouse conditions of loud noises, vibration, fumes, dust, odors, and mists. Occasionally Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, or other equipment.
