What We Do:

We are looking for a marketer who’s passionate about helping solve the global mental health crisis. This position will focus on building and managing the lifecycle marketing and automation for our new healthcare product, Calm Health. An ideal candidate will bring their knowledge in lifecycle marketing to strategize communication journeys, test and optimize creative, and drive operating efficiency to maximize business and human impact.

What You’ll do

  • Hands-on in developing, executing, and managing lifecycle strategy and operations in close participation  with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Take ownership of lifecycle communication journey, from user acquisition, onboarding, in-product triggered, re-engagement, to winback. You will design the journey, as well as building out creatives, HTMLs, and test plans
  • Drive continuous improvement of lifecycle marketing by testing and optimizing creative, journey flows, logic, messaging, and more
  • Responsible for driving, optimizing, and reporting on communication journey KPIs, give insights and recommendations: deliverability, opt-out, open, click-through, and conversion rates
  • Participate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, data science, engineering, creatives) to establish user journeys based on various segmentation
  • Assist various products and different types of email campaigns (e.g., lifecycle vs. acquisition vs. engagement) targeted to various audiences (enterprise users, app users) and segments 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of email/automation/lifecycle marketing experience
  • Experience in creating user acquisition and/or engagement communication journeys via multiple channels (email vs. notifications vs. sms)
  • Experience in HTML
  • Experience working with data scientists and engineers to figure out API and data requirements
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: willingness to roll up your sleeves and drive new initiatives forward
  • Excellent communication, partnership, and project management skills
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects at the same time, with attention to detail
  • Experience operating in ESP (e.g. Iterable, Salesforce)

Nice to Haves:

  • Healthcare experience
  • Startup experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of email/automation/lifecycle marketing experience

The anticipated salary range for this position is $142,000-$198,800. The base salary range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidates skills, experience and other qualifications. This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
