We are looking for an experienced Search Marketing leader to drive the total SERP growth strategy for multiple high-traffic websites globally. This role will be responsible for owning and scaling the current SEM and SEO team and strategy, with a very hands-on passion for search marketing. In this role there will be the potential to increase efficiencies in our program and address a wide variety of topics including the incrementality between Paid and Organic search, Audiences Integration, and Value based bidding.
You will act as a functional expert on the future of search marketing globally. The ideal candidate will bring a best-in-class expertise in Search Marketing, and deep platform expertise, in particular in the field of Feeds, Testing, Bidding, Ranking factors and Audiences. An advanced understanding of SEO, AdTech and Privacy is also required to collaborate successfully with various teams
The day to day

  • You'll be in-platform on a day-to-day basis, but also develop and lead a team of SEM and SEO experts.
  • Act as the hands-on expert owning PPC strategy, including managing a nation-wide multimillion dollar PPC budget. Own the strategic elements that drive PPC performance and continuously optimize the account to drive down cost per lead and cost per acquisition metrics, while scaling SEM campaigns to meet marketing growth and acquisition goals.
  • In platform audits, strategies, optimizations and approaches that will lead to best in class execution. Developing a test and learning agenda across keywords, audiences, copy and landing pages to iterate quickly towards profitable and scalable growth while managing budget and risk appropriately.
  • B uild a comprehensive growth roadmap that encompasses audience targeting, buyer journey improvements, bid strategy optimization, content strategy, web architecture, content distribution, internal/external linking, and technical performance, with a clear focus on prioritizing impact to effort.
  • Develop and refine performance dashboards, SERP monitoring solutions and processes for consistent audits. Report daily, weekly and monthly business performance, and progress toward key growth initiatives
  • Consistently stay on top of (and communicate) industry trends to identify new opportunities to improve targeting, production, and audience generation.


Your skills and experience

  • Experienced Search Professional: 7-10+ years of Paid Search experience, driving traffic growth and conversions for high traffic websites globally, with experience managing international accounts
  • Extensive experience managing and directing across the full spectrum of a paid search value chain; strategy development, joint business planning, project road mapping, media planning, test planning, media activation, media measurement, reporting, optimization, and innovation
  • Experience delivering value across the full funnel/customer journey (i.e., awareness, consideration & demand) while optimizing across an array of KPIs (e.g., CPA, CPI, ROAS, ROI, etc.)
  • Experience working with different attribution methodologies (e.g., last click & multi-touch) and measurement systems (e.g., Adobe, Google Analytics, Neustar)
  • At least 3-5+ years of people leadership, mentoring and managing a team, preferably in a multi-cultural environment.
  • A detailed understanding of Search Marketing platforms from emerging products to user trends to standard methodologies in optimizations
  • Strong Communicator - Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills are essential both working with people internally and externally.
  • Collaborative - You have demonstrated success working cross-functionally in larger organizations, and have the ability to forge strong bonds with key external and internal partners.


Additional considerations

  • Strong familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (as it impacts SEM/SEO)
  • Inside-out knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SEMRush, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console
  • Experience using other optimization tools such as Kenshoo/Skai, Marin, ahrefs, Botify, DeepCrawl, OnCrawl, SiteBulb, BrightEdge, seoClarity, or Conductor Searchlight and others
