Marketing analytics is responsible for analyzing market research, industry trends, competing technologies, and competitive intelligence to guide business strategy.

  • Demonstrates the knowledge to define the business dynamics necessary to consider portfolio expansion including market size, barriers to entry, differentiated value, regulatory assessment, and existing portfolio alignment.
  • Possesses strong business and financial acumen and proven analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly in a complex business
  • Uses project management skills to manage projects from initiation through closing to successfully meet project objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Build market opportunity assessments, forecasts, and product valuation models, based on data collection from market research, industry reports and internal subject matter experts, to evaluate the impact of a new product launch, partnership or acquisition opportunity, and prioritize business development opportunities.
  • Support the marketing team with analysis related to the NPHS product and services portfolio and segmentation.
  • Build one-pagers on products including disease state background, market landscape, competing modalities, product valuation and forecasting
  • Lead Annual Operating Plan process and establish market growth rates for key product categories.
  • Pull and analyze claims data and internal sales data to create target lists for the sales team
  • Attend educational sessions at industry conferences and summarize key insights and business implications for leadership
  • Collaborate across the marketing team and cross-functionally with business development, enterprise strategy, finance and data teams.



Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 5-8 years experience in marketing, preferred
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience, preferred
  • Use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook experience
  • A Covid-19 vaccination or a legitimate accommodation is required in order to be employed in this position. Covid-19 vaccination includes:

  • 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
