JOB SUMMARY
Spectrum Reach provides industry leading media solutions across the evolving media landscape. As TV/video consumption grows across different devices our Streaming TV product offers an impression-based solution that serves to extend our audience reach across multiple video platforms.
The marketplace for premium video advertising is both expanding and evolving. From the explosion of OTT and vMVPD offerings available to the growth of app based viewership of both Live streaming content and VOD to the emergence of Linear Addressable capabilities, a deep understanding of the various types of inventory available is critical to the continued success in this space. A key component of our product offering is ensuring the most robust solution within the most desirable inventory.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage Streaming TV inventory integrations to ensure alignment with the core value proposition of our product offerings and to position Spectrum Reach for ongoing success. This includes supporting both day to day analysis of inventory performance and forecasting and longer term strategic planning for inventory growth and partnerships. This role has the potential to evolve with the fast-growing Streaming TV product and the transforming of the overall video advertising marketplace.
The role will report to the Sr. Director of Advertising Product Development and will operate in a highly matrixed environment with numerous key stakeholders.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support inventory partnership teams to evaluate new inventory partnership agreements
    • Provide insight/requirements on product needs when securing inventory deals
    • Provide initial support for feasibility and product alignment
    • Serve as ongoing integration point of contact with partners.
  • Support existing inventory partnerships and integrations
    • Monitor inventory usage and inform strategic next steps to enhance partnerships
    • Work with Yield/Planning teams to evaluate new sales packaging impact on our inventory
  • Support evaluation and implementation of forecasting tools to understand availability and value of our inventory partnerships
  • Support evaluation and implementation of ongoing programmatic solutions
  • Work closely with Sales and Market Research to understand the competitive landscape to inform product offering.
  • Work with cross-functional team to identify, test and integrate new inventory sources
  • Collaborate with Linear Product team and support expansion of impression based sales into linear TV
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience for Streaming TV.
  • Rallies the team behind the Spectrum Reach goals and mission and works closely with senior leadership in continuing to plan and budget the marketing activities of the business.
  • Translate business strategy into a portfolio product roadmap alongside cross-functional stakeholders to articulate trade-offs and business cases for new features through data-driven prioritization and business needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possesses solid understanding of current and emerging video/ad technologies with extensive hands-on experience with FreeWheel Ad Server a must.
  • Possesses innovative and creative understanding of technology and tools, and appreciation of analytic and quantitative principles for evaluation
  • Experience at digital Ad Tech company, (v)MVPD, DSP/SSP or similar
  • Understanding of VAST and common ad serving capabilities (verification, serving, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Programmatic and inventory sharing principles
  • Knowledge of advertising principles and product management best practices
  • Knowledge of creative solutions, including digital, on-line solutions, and the use of new technology in designing creative solutions
  • Capacity to work independently and own responsibilities for complex projects
  • Professional, outgoing (partners well with all), confident with sound presentation skills
