The Disney Ad Sales (DAS) Ad Partnerships team is responsible for evaluating and optimizing partnerships, policies, revenue models and workflow to enhance the premium ad experience and fuel strategic initiatives across The Walt Disney Company.
The Senior Manager, Ad Partnerships will play a key role in supporting the growth of Disney advertising revenue across brands and platforms. This individual will oversee key digital/social platform partnerships, including guiding new product launches, developing and monitoring benchmarks for performance, negotiating favorable sales rights, and leveraging platform resources and analytics to maximize ad revenue across the portfolio. They will contribute to the evaluation of emerging platform partnerships and collaborate with leaders and internal partners to set strategic direction for social monetization. The individual will report to the Director, Ad Partnerships.
This role is based in New York, NY, Bristol,, CT, Santa Monica, CA, or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities :

  • Partner Management: Lead digital/social partner management on behalf of Ad Sales with platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube
  • Advocate for Disney Ad Sales needs, communicating policies and priorities, reviewing performance and collaborating on opportunities to drive growth
  • Evaluate, negotiate terms for and guide the introduction of new social product offerings to Disney Ad Sales
  • Lead plans and guide business term negotiations for digital/social platform activations around specials and tentpoles (e.g., live awards shows)
  • Performance management: Drive the development and evolution of performance benchmarking to evaluate areas of opportunity and success and inform growth strategy
    • Work with Revenue and Finance teams on forecasting, tracking, and reporting social revenue
    • Establish standard metrics to evaluate performance and derive data-driven insights to share with cross-functional social teams
  • Growth strategy: Collaborate across Ad Sales and The Walt Disney Company to develop and execute plans for driving significant growth in social revenue
    • Bring a data-driven approach to evaluating potential growth opportunities and help develop and prioritize paths that maximize return and minimize operational friction
    • Evaluate new platform/strategic partners (e.g., TikTok /ClubHouse) and collaborates on pilot terms and opportunities for monetization
    • Partner with Brand Content and Consumer Marketing teams to identify network priorities and areas of focus
  • Marketplace intelligence: Ensure colleagues and leaders are armed with best practices and information about the latest developments related to social


Basic Qualifications :

  • 7+ years in media, with experience in digital/social media, and exposure to ad sales
  • Partner / account management experience
  • Track record of collaboration, consensus-building and project management across functional areas and levels of seniority
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for emerging media and technology including social and video distribution platforms
