Sr. Field Marketing Manager - North Central/Ohio Valley
The Sr. Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for generating awareness and demand using a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics including, but not limited to, account-based programs, regional trade shows, conferences, and digital and targeted field events. This person will work closely with sales directors and channel partners to ensure marketing aligns and delivers overall pipeline to build strong business growth. The person will need to have experience in strategic, digital, and channel marketing as many of our campaigns are planned and executed with our partners. This person will be aligned to the North Central & Ohio Valley region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the national marketing and demand generation efforts for SailPoint in your region or vertical
- Promote and drive SailPoint's vision and strategy in your region or vertical
- Build a marketing plan to generate pipeline for direct sales force and with strategic partners.
- Drive demand generation campaigns directly and via the partner eco-system.
- Build a target account marketing plans to develop new prospects across your region or vertical
- Organize and execute local/regional/national marketing programs that can include digital email campaigns, on-line advertising, conferences, seminars, webinars, and content syndication
- Monitor lead follow up and conversions to opportunities to build a solid pipeline within region
Requirements:
- 8+ years' experience in Field and Partner Marketing with enterprise software experience (security software experience a plus)
- Marketing experience, messaging/positioning experience a plus
- Experience with complex enterprise sales cycles and demonstrating marketing's impact on the business thru business models, dashboards and data
- Strong understanding on how to leverage and plan lead generation programs with channel partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience using Salesforce; experience with 6Sense a plus
- Budget Planning and Management Skills
- Solid event management and organization skills
- Experience in building integrated campaigns leveraging the full marketing mix
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment
- Collaborate with product marketing and broader communications team in the development of go-to-market strategies/messaging
- Self-starter who can be independent and the ability to execute flawlessly
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications discipline preferred
- When travel is appropriate, ability to travel nationally approximately 30-40% of the time
