We are seeking an experienced marketing leader with the talent to translate vision and strategy into a sophisticated, thoughtful, compelling, and results-oriented brand through PR and content marketing programs. Leading brand strategy, comms strategy, content marketing, and social media, you’ll play a key role in advancing our brand and contributing to exponential growth. This communications expert will be a key leader and contribute to the company’s overall go-to-market strategy and messaging plan. You will partner closely with product marketing and campaign teams to design our communications and content marketing plan and execute it through all owned and earned channels.
This is an important and high-profile role reporting to the CMO and a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded B2B expertise in brand campaign design, corporate communications, content marketing, and social media.
Goals include increasing brand awareness, consideration, and preference, attracting site traffic and social followers and leveraging content to educate, entertain, engage prospects and clients to create demand while solidifying the category and TigerConnect’s leadership role.
What You’ll Deliver:
- Develop and execute the company’s communications strategy to foster relationships and engagement with our target audiences (press, analysts, influencers, prospects, customers, investors)
- Develop core brand messaging and own the overall brand strategy delivery across all channels. Grow awareness, improve perception and reputation
- Create the strategy and processes to scale content marketing in support of brand, demand, and client engagement campaigns. Lead a team of content strategists and producers to create regular content to be marketed via all inbound channels and 3rd party sites. Continually and programmatically adjust content to improve performance
- Direct social media and content distribution in support of the brand, demand, and client engagement. Ensure the effectiveness of all channels
- Own the company’s creative agency and freelance design and writing portfolio. Ensure we have trained writers, clever creative identity and writing guidelines
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience
- Proven and visible marketing veteran. Experience leading brand, content, and comms for a B2B tech provider
- Fearless storyteller; ability to craft high-impact news and package top-notch content on rapid deadlines, but also be strategic in thoughtful press and comms planning. Ability to forge strong press and influencer relationships via high integrity PR execution Experience managing an external PR agency as an integrated operational member of the team to get great results
- High-volume content creator media (blogging, guides, whitepapers, research, infographics, podcasts, etc.) with smart/innovative social media leadership vision. Deep understanding of SEO and content performance with product messaging and campaign impact focus
- Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data
- Adept at working with C-level executives, board members, customer executives, and community leaders
- Thrives in a mission-driven organization that strongly values culture, integrity, and collaboration at all levels
