OVERVIEW

The Main Meals & Sides (MMSD) team is looking for a strategic and driven Sr. Brand Associate to lead Betty Crocker Potatoes and HMM strategy & execution across our entire portfolio. Our brands, including Hamburger Helper, Suddenly Salad, and Betty Crocker Potatoes, play an important role in the lives of our consumers by delivering great taste, convenience, and value.

Coming off the heels of the pandemic & competitive service constraints, F23 will be the year of the Betty Crocker Potato! You will have P&L ownership for our $56MM Betty Crocker Potatoes business. You will partner with the team to develop and execute plans across the 4Ps to deliver annual business goals while also owning demand generation and forecasting for Potatoes. In this role, you will also help finalize and bring to life a Mashed Potato HMM/SRM/Renovation and a new Srategic Revenue Managment (SRM) strategy across the Potato portfolio that will help us continue to win in market in the future.

Additionally, you will also own the MMSD HMM strategy and execution by partnering with the cross-functional team to define the strategy, lead the process of building the pipeline and executing projects to deliver results. This year MMSD was one of a few MBS teams to hit their HMM target and we are on track for F23 as well! As the Sr. Brand Associate, you will have high visibility to BU leadership as you serve as the voice of the team to provide updates on progress and plans to build the HMM pipeline.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Full ownership over MMSD HMM strategy and execution to lead the cross-functional team in delivering annual HMM targets and building the pipeline
  • Define the annual HMM ideation plan in partnership with key cross-functional partners to identify opportunities to deliver the HMM target
  • Track and communicate updates to BU leadership on HMM pipeline sufficiency including gap closing actions
  • Manage HMM project execution ensuring successful project implementation
  • P&L ownership of the Betty Crocker Potatoes business including demand generation and forecasting to deliver annual RNS and Profit targets
  • Continue to refine the Betty Crocker Potatoes brand strategy and develop plans across the 4Ps
  • Develop and maintain the Potatoes 12Q flow across innovation, core news, SRM, and channels
  • Lead the cross-functional team in developing and commercializing a Potatoes brand expansion innovation to bring a new format to the aisle
  • Engage with key customer teams as the brand lead on Potatoes for Walmart, Grocery, and Target

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience post-undergrad
  • Strong analytical ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action
  • Skills - Strategic thinking, team leadership, data analysis, project management


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience as a Brand Associate or similar role
  • Strong analytical ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action
  • Ability to strategically choose levers to balance short-term commitments and long-term brand health
  • Ability to determine how to use 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and drive results with a strong sense of urgency
