The Impact You Will Make
Grubhub Drivers are the essential connection between restaurants and diners. In this role, you will build the automated program(s) strategy and execution for engaging delivery partners throughout their experience with Grubhub. You will use communication to shape reliable, world-class delivery partners by getting them on the road faster and in times of need so that they can maximize their earnings. This role reports to the Manager, Lifecycle + CRM Marketing (Driver).
Goals & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement omni-channel marketing strategy for activating, developing, retaining and re-capturing our driver audience to get them on the road when we need them.
- Ensure that communication is relevant, timely, consistent, and effective across the entire lifecycle.
- Advance existing CRM programs by developing audience segments to support more hyper-targeted, dynamic and personalized communication.
- Build and execute digital (e.g. email, SMS, push notifications, web, social media) and traditional channel programming (e.g. mailers, events) that motivates drivers to deliver more frequently and efficiently (e.g. improve their performance and earn more) with the goal of meeting driver supply targets.
- Apply insights from VoC data, driver behavior and surveys, and Analyst insights to continually test and refine your approach, documenting results and next steps.
- Collaborate closely with Logistics partners and Driver Product Marketing to incorporate programmatic content that drives engagement with the Grubhub for Drivers programs and app respectively.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Grubhub's driver audience. Identify new data needs and work with supporting roles to implement.
- Partner with Operations, Analytics and Product functions to ensure that all campaigns have clearly defined success metrics which are tracked and analyzed, along with behaviors that contribute to driver success.
- Regularly communicate with Logistics workstreams and seek opportunities to collaborate on shared objectives, gain efficiency, and align messaging.
What You Bring to the Table
- BA in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or similar quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience in lifecycle/retention marketing
- Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and execute innovative and effective campaigns; Experience with A/B testing
- Experience using a marketing automation tool or customer engagement platform e.g. Marketo, Hubspot, Braze (preferred)
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven approach
- Positive attitude and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present project plans and results, influence others, and build relationsh ips
