NuORDER is looking for an individual who is passionate about retail technology and has a strong understanding of the Sports & Outdoor retail and brand landscape. This position will be located in New York, Boston or Los Angeles (however, we’re open to remote applicants). This individual will be responsible for engaging and managing Sports & Outdoor brand relationships within our exclusive retail partnership program while ensuring delivery of a valuable brand experience that creates new revenue opportunities for NuORDER.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee a portfolio of Sports & Outdoor brands with a goal to drive adoption of NuORDER’s Complimentary Retailer Platform and work with Sales to convert participating brands to paid subscribers.
  • Support the planning and execution of all phases of the brand lifecycle, i.e. brand onboarding, activating new retail partnerships, ensuring market readiness, driving platform engagement, and influencing conversions to paid subscriptions.
  • Leverage existing contacts and relationships within the retail industry and Sports & Outdoor category to drive brand engagement with NuORDER. Expand existing NuORDER brand contacts with a goal to elevate to the C-Suite/executive level.
  • Become an expert in your brands’ businesses, understanding their objectives, merchandising processes and systems, and the biggest challenges that NuORDER can help solve.
  • Act as a partner to the Onboarding team to ensure brands are adopting best practices and their experience is overwhelmingly positive and efficient.
  • Partner with the broader NuORDER Retail team to develop Sports & Outdoor driven strategies that will deliver value to both brands and retailers alike.
  • Become a NuORDER product expert and educate users on how to best use NuORDER based on their business needs.
  • Take a consultative and solutions oriented approach with your brands to facilitate demos of NuORDER’s full suite of capabilities.
  • Consistently measure, track, and report on health metrics of accounts.
  • Conduct introductory and ongoing value review meetings with brands to better educate them on the retail program and how it can deliver value to their brand.

What you’ll need:

  • 8+ years experience building relationships and working across Sports & Outdoor brands
  • An existing network of contacts within top Sports & Outdoor fashion houses and Sports & Outdoor retailers
  • Specialty and major retailer experience, e.g. Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, Macy’s, Nordstrom, etc.
  • Ability to present to C-level and VP-level audiencesExcellent in-person / virtual and presentation skills
  • Ability to craft messaging that addresses key customer business objectives with software and service value drivers
  • Exceptional writing, PPT and communication skills
  • An eye for design and high-quality immersive digital experiences
  • Wholesale planning, merchandising or buying experience is strongly preferred
  • BA/BS required
  • Experience or interest in technology and SaaS solutions
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and juggling competing/changing priorities in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, entrepreneurial startup environment
  • Ability to think beyond the status quo with a can-do attitude and an appetite for success
