Job Description

In this highly visible role, you will help launch connected services and products that meet the needs of our customers' growing technological needs.

As Director, Solutions Marketing, you will be responsible for planning and executing customer value initiatives for specific channels within the business. You will lead marketing strategies supporting the implementation of data-driven software products and subscription businesses, commercialization of services, strategic account partnerships, and new market entries such as Residential New Construction, utilities, energy management, and Pro-IQ contractors.

This role will lead the development of building marketing push and pull strategies for subscription customers including acquiring, engagement, retaining, renewing, and upselling recuring Monthly Revenue (RMR) services to maximize lifetime value of each subscription.

You will be a key member of a collaborative, cross-functional team comprised of solutions marketing, channel marketing, sales, product management, digital, and marcomm.

Responsibilities

This position combines the role of a Marketing strategist and Marketing manager, capable of demonstrating substantial experience in developing result-oriented marketing campaigns in evolving, innovative industries.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), strong analytical skills and effective team management skills are considered essential for success in the role.

Job responsibilities:
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for innovative technology-based software and hardware solutions in evolving and newly defined B2B and B2C markets.
  • Drive expansion opportunities across the customer base by overseeing and directing the strategy and execution of customer-facing marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Leverage consumer and market insights to develop product positioning, key value propositions, and messaging that resonate with identified target audiences including Builders, HVAC pros, homeowners, and utility/energy companies.
  • Drive awareness and demand to achieve aggressive growth objectives working closely with product managers, sales team, and key strategic partnerships.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with sales team and key customer accounts providing thought leadership, support, and partnership to achieve corporate sales targets.
  • Translate business objectives into marketing strategies to help guide marcom, digital, and communication teams in developing best-in-class creative, communication tactics, and experiences.
  • Manage solutions marketing budget including allocation, forecasting, and reconciliation of dollars.
  • Analyze sales and marketing metrics; utilizing them to forecast market trends and proactively adjust plans to achieve growth objectives.
  • Drive purchase, enrollment, activation, and engagement experiences through digital, app, email, social and other communication tactics.
  • Foster environment of innovative thinking, ideation of new products and services, and testing to learn strategies are celebrated.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire newly formed Solutions Marketing team.

You Must Have:
  • BA in Business or Marketing or equivalent field
  • Demonstrated experience in channel/program marketing, business development, and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on consumer products
