The Social Media Master/Communications Consultant creates and implements effective communications strategies and plans focused on specific initiatives, achievements, and changes. Supports in determining the best media and channels for presenting effectively and engaging various audiences

Responsibilities

1. Provides consultation to address business area's communication needs. Develops cohesive plans for communicating initiatives and events that are aligned to business outcomes. Assesses and maximizes impact on target audience.

2. Partners with business area to ensure needs are addressed, various solutions are identified, and delivery of expectations is within scope and capacity.

3. Determines cost effective means to implement key communication results. Crafts content that is clear, engaging, and concise. Captures key metrics and measures the efficiency of communication solutions. Identifies trends for future application.

4. Applies Vanguard's style, usage, and brand standards to ensure consistency.

5. Identifies areas for improvement to improve the efficiency of communications and its ability to complete business objectives.

6. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Future of Work

During the pandemic, we transitioned to a work from home model for the majority of our crew and we continue to interview, hire, and on-board future crew remotely.

As we have developed the path forward, we have taken a thoughtful approach that both maximizes the advantages of working remotely and the many benefits of coming together and collaborating in a shared workspace. We believe that in-person interactions among our crew are important for preserving our unique culture and advantageous for the personal development of our crew.

When our Crew return to the office, many will work in our hybrid model. A smaller proportion of our crew will operate in the Work from Home work model (for example, field sales crew); or in the Work from Office model (for example, portfolio managers).
