Social Media Marketing Coordinator
About the Role
Today, everything that we do is social and when your brand is built on community, you need to be everywhere and always on. MoneyLion is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help build its social media channels; those that exist today, and the new ones we’ll want to build on for tomorrow. You’ll be responsible for building a voice that adds true value to our followers, tapping into our creator community of influencers and ambassadors, and activating our sponsorships across sports and entertainment.
You’ll be creating and managing our brand voice and image. In this role, you’ll be creating and publishing content on all media platforms, reviewing social media and other marketing metrics to build and improve campaign strategies and crafting responses to customers’ feedback and messages on various platforms. This role will be a hybrid role based in NYC with 3+ days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent MoneyLion across social; be the voice of the brand and ensure consistency across all communication
- Monitor and moderate real-time conversations across social platforms
- Build and grow MoneyLion’s community; encourage engagement and two-way communication
- Manage MoneyLion’s editorial calendar including planning, scheduling and publishing assets across social
- Listen to cultural “signals” across social media, determine what is relevant, and translate for MoneyLion in social
- Be the expert; keep teams smart on social media best practices, trends, emerging platforms, audience behaviors, and innovation opportunities
- Track and report on all social KPIs and provide learnings and recommendations based on content performance and audience reception
- Build strong relationships with the creative, project management, creator, and product teams to complete work efficiently
About You
- 1 - 3 years of professional experience in social media, community management experience required
- Practitioner who uses and understands the nuances of each social platform and format
- A self-starter who is curious, proactive, and adaptable
- A team player who is able to balance multiple work streams, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly
- Experience with social media management platforms like SproutSocial, Sprinklr, Khoros, etc. preferred, not required.
- Must be a people person and like to have fun. C’mon, it's social!
