We are looking for a skilled Social Media Manager to add to our rapidly growing team! This individual will lead our organic social media strategy and create engaging content for our social audience. You will get to know our business and brand voice like the back of your hand and bring creative ideas to the table on how Hotel Engine can build our social community. This opportunity is a key role within the marketing team and this person will have the exciting opportunity to exponentially increase our brand awareness alongside our Content and SEO Manager.
The right candidate for this role will be exceptionally proactive, goal oriented, possess extraordinary attention to detail, and have outstanding writing and content creation skills. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Create brand consistent animated, static, and video content for Hotel Engine’s social media channels
- Define a strategy with set KPIs for growing Hotel Engine’s social media audience to increase brand awareness, referral traffic and leads
- Work closely with the Content and SEO manager to identify opportunities for repurposing existing content on our different social channels
- Help craft executive communications and PR announcements for social media
- Use social listening to be a community advocate and liaison to our member support team
- Create a strategy for employee engagement and advocacy on our social channels
- Spearhead the creation of social media partnerships with our global portfolio of hotel partners and select customers
- Lead the execution of influencer marketing campaigns and affiliate campaigns
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Required
- Minimum 5 years professional social media management experience with solid portfolio of work on a variety of different channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Content marketing experience a plus
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload, sometimes requiring short turnaround times
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Meltwater, Hubspot, and other content creation / development and social media scheduling tools
Preferred
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to find creative ways to repurpose content
- Experience working for B2B Technology or SaaS is highly preferred
- A love of all things travel and hospitality
Cash compensation:
- Base salary range for this role is $75,000-$95,000 with an annual bonus target of up to 15% + stock options. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and may vary from the amount above.
