Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will be a key part of the marketing team, reporting to the Director of Content. The person in this role will help us build brand awareness, increase engagement, generate leads and draw interest to open jobs.
First and foremost, a successful candidate will have a knack for writing compelling copy and creating visuals that perform across channels. You’ll work closely with the Director of Content on refining our social strategy and exploring new channels to connect with our audience. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to promote our marketing programs. And you’ll partner with executives on messaging around key topics like cost certainty, price transparency and more.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily posting on Cedar’s owned social media channels to position our brand as an innovative category leader making a difference in healthcare
- Establish a friendly, insightful and unique voice that helps grow our social followings and increase engagement
- Identify new channels and distribution opportunities that resonate with our audience
- Collaborate with the brand team on dynamic visual content such as images, graphics and videos
- Coordinate with the experiential team to promote events, conferences and webinars
- Work with executives to amplify content on their individual channels
- Track and report social performance data so we can optimize over time
Qualifications
- 3+ years running brand social media accounts, ideally in healthcare or technology
- Proven record building digital followings and increasing engagement
- A strong understanding of the latest content and social media trends
- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with paid social media campaigns
- Design and video creation experience a plus
- A sense of humor!
