Your Mission
As SADA’s Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing our fast-growing and dynamic social media channels across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and the new channels we’re exploring. You will play a key role in the content development and deployment across channels – helping us create built-for-social content that reaches and engages the right audiences. You will also conduct market research and develop multi-platform social media marketing campaigns that align with our various initiatives. This is the perfect role for someone who LOVES social media and is organized, self-motivated, creative, analytical, and collaborative.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- In support of the Sr. Social Media Manager and under direction of the Director of PR & Corporate Communications, execute the social media strategy to align with business goals
- Write, edit, stage and publish unique content suitable for SADA’s social channels, our various followers, and new audiences
- Work closely with marketing leads to finalize the social media components of our campaigns to align with company brand image, events, announcements, new product offerings, and more
- Coordinate our daily social calendar by managing projects and programming finalized social content into the various management systems we have in place
- Maintain all of SADA’s social media profiles and overall presence by conducting regular audits to our pages for brand continuity
- Track audience/influencer engagement and apply social media best practices to ensure our content achieves maximum reach and brand awareness
- Monitor industry news and competitor social channels to ensure SADA is a part of relevant conversations and continuing to stay ahead of topics/trends
- Drive metrics reporting and analytics programs to measure efficiency of our organic social campaigns/programs
- Help develop testing and optimization for social content across channels
- Catalog social performance and help package analytics monthly, quarterly, ad hoc, etc that outline wins and opportunities to report on efforts as well as iterate and optimize efforts
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in social media marketing, public relations, communications or similar role
- Knowledge and passion for social media – native to the space
- Digital presence and knowledge in emerging channels, as well as several of the following kinds of social spaces: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, virtual worlds, mobile platforms, applications, communities, forums, etc.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to understand, embrace, and emulate a brand persona
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, all in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, thoughtful communicator across all levels within and outside of an organization, from the leadership team to customers
- Identify cloud trends and key influencers that we can co-op or target within our social media programs
- Ability to inspire and help develop strong creative content that contributes to brand affinity and advocacy
- Experience in the technology industry and familiarity with the SaaS / Cloud sector a plus
- Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; should feel comfortable with data analysis and understand social media KPIs to be able to use data to make decisions
- Always looking for room to improve and pushing the boundaries of what more can be done
- Inquisitive and collaborative with a positive attitude and go-getter mentality
- Experience with Google Workspace a plus
- Knowledge of how to navigate project/social media management platforms is a plus! (I.e. Hootsuite, HubSpot, Monday.com, and more)
Expectations
Required Travel - 10-15% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travel has been temporarily restricted.
Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all onboarding will be temporarily conducted remotely.
