Target Location: REMOTE, US (EAST COAST). We are dedicated to being a remote-first company; we want you to work where you are most comfortable and productive whether that be at home, in a company-provided coworking space or a coffee shop! Due to the global distribution of the Marketing team, Western EMEA or Eastern US time zone/work days working hours are preferred. This is a remote role supporting EMEA, Israel, North America and Australia geographies. Time zone and work hour flexibility are a must.
About You: DoiT is looking for a skilled, creative Social Media Manager to support our global marketing activities. Work will focus on the design, execution and measurement of modern, strategic social media content and campaigns that elevate and expand our brand awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate is intrigued by the prospect of building a compelling brand story and ongoing engagement in the tech/cloud space, has a strong understanding of content marketing across multiple channels and brings both originality and consistency to their work. You will champion the brand, generate buzz and grow followers, audience engagement and employee engagement. While this role sits in Marketing, reporting to the Head of Content and Communications, you will work closely with colleagues across functions and around the globe — so the ability to work in large, cross-functional, remote teams is a must.
Key responsibilities:
- Run the day-to-day operations for all social media channels at DoiT to help drive our overall content and communications strategy.
- Implement tools and processes to enable employee and partner amplification of DoiT social media posts, and drive adoption and measure effectiveness of such tools
- Establish and maintain a social media calendar in line with the global content strategy and broader marketing goals.
- Concept, execute and maintain creative, measurable social media programs and campaigns, keeping user experience and engagement in mind.
- Develop community relationships and engagement through our website and social channels to build and maintain a rich place for customers, partners and prospects to learn and interact with DoiT, our employees and each other.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, field and digital teams to ensure a clear and defined strategic message across all channels.
- Ideate and execute social media campaigns in cooperation with Google Cloud, AWS and DoiT customers.
- Work within DoiT to promote awareness of and engagement with various social communities, and train internal users on best practices to increase social contribution and ROI.
- Produce social messaging that is accurate, timely, high-quality and on brand, and review contributions from others for consistency and style.
- Participate in planning and executing content marketing campaigns, and be accountable for choosing the best format for displaying information to the audience.
- Manage relationships with subject matter experts to make sure content is accurate.
- Ensure appropriate policy and legal checks take place.
- Report on predetermined KPIs monthly, quarterly, annually and by campaign.
- Maintain the voice and central narrative for the company to help ensure our value is accurately presented and promoted across audiences.
- Stay up to date with trends in social media and content marketing.
- Implement a social media program to grow audience, engagement and employee advocacy.
- Work in partnership with DoiT’s Public Relations agency to publish thought leadership content across social channels and distribute competitive news to be shared with the DoiT go-to-market and product teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in social media and/or content marketing in a B2B company or agency
- Strong portfolio showcasing past social campaigns, including results/metrics
- Evidence of effective community building and engagement across social channels
- Experience in the technology/cloud/SaaS space, and in working with tech/software developers
- Expertise in all relevant social media channels, especially LinkedIn and Twitter
- Experience with CMS and publishing systems such as Hubspot, Wordpress and similar
- Experience working with designers, content writers, video producers, etc.
- Ability to design, execute and measure social campaigns across channels
- Great organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and project requirements
- Multitasker with the ability to adapt, work effectively under pressure and alternate between tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Full fluency in English
- Experience in remote working
